REVIEW
Check panel orientation, bleed, margins, barcodes, seams, and fold positions against the dieline.
INSPECT
Look beyond color to notice misregistration, surface cracking, uneven cuts, weak glue, and poor alignment.

The dieline finally stopped looking like a confusing set of marks. I can now separate cuts, creases, bleed, and glue areas.
Comparing real paperboard and film samples made material differences much easier to understand than reading definitions alone.
Building a paper mockup helped me catch an upside-down panel before treating the flat artwork as finished.
I used to check only the print color. Now I also look at registration, folds, cutting edges, and glue alignment.
